Kagami Biraki 31-Jan-2004 It was a perfect January day for training. The car park was full, the floor was full and the spirit was strong. Lot's of Kiai's rang out as we trained hard and the perspiration flowed. The theme for the year, Renma - Keep Polishing, was decided on in acknowledgement of how well every aspect of the dojo is going and that there is no one thing that needs to be worked on, we all just need to keep focused on working on all the little things that make the dojo the great place that it is.
Beach training 18-Jan-2004 Despite being the middle of summer it turned out to be a cold and windy day but not to be deterred a small group of students still made their way to the beach and had a great time training in the sand and surf.
Sydney International Tournament 28-Nov-2003 Grovedale was well represented at the Sydney International Seido tournament. The weekend had many highlights, including Senpai Malcolm winning the breaking division.
Official Opening 13-Jul-2003 Around 100 students participated in a training session lead by Australian branch chief Kyoshi Ino to celebrate the official opening of Seido Karate Grovedale.
